A loving cat, a lifetime of companionship
We believe the love of a cat can make life brighter at any age, and we want to help seniors and senior cats find each other.
Here’s how it works:
High Country Humane will waive the adoption fee for cats 5 years and older adopted by a senior person (60 years and older). All adoptions will follow our normal counseling process, and this special fee-waived program is limited to two cats per 12-month period.
Although adoption fees are waived through this program, donations are greatly appreciated to help us continue our lifesaving work. All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before going home!
How to Get Started
1. Visit during open hours (11am-5pm Thursday-Tuesday) and let our team know you’re interested in the Companion Cats for Seniors program.
2. Meet our eligible cats and spend time finding your perfect match.
3. Complete the adoption process and bring home your new friend the same day!
