WHAT TO DO IF YOU’VE FOUND STRAY KITTENS
Did you know that sometimes leaving stray kittens where you found them is much safer for them?
When we find a litter of kittens, our good-hearted instincts tell us to rush to the aid of these fragile felines. Thankfully, human intervention is typically not required.
In fact, the best thing we can do is leave the kittens alone. Mom will likely return shortly, and it’s critical that the kittens remain in her care as she offers the best chance for survival!
All you need to do is watch over Mom while she cares for the babies. Then you can bring them into the shelter once the babies are 8 weeks old to get them fixed, vaccinated, and adopted! (Don’t forget Mom too!)
